ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

My client is a dynamic international company specialising in innovative solutions for the agricultural machinery sector.

Function:

Assembly/Service Technician, based in the companies warehouse, for the assembly of the complete range of agricultural machinery and incoming goods.
Based in Hamilton, the job is required to ensure that goods are unloaded, assembled, ready for shipping and complete repairs and prepare machines for demonstrations, to the customer's satisfaction, thereby contributing to growth and profitability of the company.

The job offers future growth opportunities.

Affinity with grassland machinery, especially balers would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

1) Store, assemble and check relevant machines before distribution to the dealers
2) Ensure and document all machinery is prepared to leave the warehouse in good working order
3) Assist the Service Manager and the dealer network in customer support
4) Ensure any relevant claims are processed in communication with the suppliers

Ideal Profile:
• Self-motivator
• Flexibility and willingness to travel throughout New Zealand if required
• Computer literacy
• Excellent communicative skills
• A recognised Agricultural Machinery Qualification



Communication:
• Reports to the Service Manager
• Liaises with the internal, overseas suppliers and customer shipping departments
